Established SEO.
Continued progress.
This dealership has worked with GCR on SEO for more than three years. With multiple locations and changing inventory, its search presence needs to support both shoppers researching a purchase and people looking for a cart available nearby.
The latest report shows progress during an established relationship: more organic sessions across a full twelve-month window, more recorded inquiry activity, and useful content attracting additional Google clicks.
These figures compare recent performance with earlier reporting periods. They are not a measurement of the entire three-plus-year engagement, and the earliest charted data is not presented as the start of GCR’s work.
More organic visits.
More opportunities to connect.
Each result uses its own clearly labeled comparison window. Paid advertising is excluded from these measures.

June 18–September 15, 2025 vs. 2026Google Search Console · 90 days
The two periods show a 45.6% increase, rounded to 46%. This comparison reduces a simple seasonal mismatch; it does not isolate SEO from every other influence on demand.
98 more recorded
inquiry events.
Organic search visitors generated 909 phone-click and form-submission events from March through August 2026, compared with 811 during the same months in 2025. Both types of activity increased.
| Event | 2025 | 2026 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phone clicks | 497 | 542 | +9% |
| Form submissions | 314 | 367 | +17% |
| Combined events | 811 | 909 | +12% |
A phone click records a tap or click on a phone link. These are tracked events, not deduplicated leads, connected calls, qualified buyers or confirmed sales. One person may generate multiple events.
The comparison begins in March because the report identifies March 2025 as the start of the current lead-event definition. Keeping that boundary makes the two periods more useful to compare.
More ways for shoppers
to find the dealership.
The report identifies buyer guides and articles as a growing source of Google traffic, alongside the dealership’s location and inventory pages.
Clicks to guides and articles
Google Search clicks during June 18–September 15, 2026, reported as 29% higher than the same period in 2025.
Less reliance on one article
The report describes traffic spreading across multiple guides instead of depending mainly on one article. Topics include brand comparisons and buying considerations.
Inventory still matters at the local level
Results varied across locations. The report associates several declines in individual stores’ search traffic with vehicle listings that were removed or a smaller inventory footprint, even where their location-page clicks held steady or increased.
That points to ongoing work: keep availability accurate, help visitors find comparable carts when units sell, and give readers a clear path from helpful content to available inventory or a dealership conversation.
Defined periods.
Practical limits.
This case study summarizes a September 2026 performance report using data through September 15. The dealership’s name, exact locations and identifying page details are withheld. GCR confirmed the SEO relationship has lasted more than three years.
- GA4 sessions: organic search sessions across two consecutive twelve-month periods ending in August.
- GA4 inquiry events: PhoneClick and FormSubmission events attributed to organic search visitors, March–August year over year.
- Google Search Console: Google Search clicks during matching 90-day periods, including the report’s separate content-page analysis.
Sessions, clicks and inquiry events measure different activity and should not be added together. The figures are transcribed from the supplied report; the underlying exports have not been independently audited for this case study.
Why doesn’t this show a three-year before-and-after comparison?
The relationship is longer than the comparison windows used here. The report also identifies an analytics interruption during July–December 2023. Recent comparable periods provide a clearer basis for this case study than treating incomplete historical data as a launch baseline.
Does this prove SEO produced every additional visit or inquiry?
No. These are observed changes during an ongoing SEO engagement. Inventory, customer demand, brand activity and other factors can influence performance. The figures do not establish incremental sales or guarantee results for another dealership.
Why focus on clicks and sessions instead of impression growth?
The source report includes estimated adjustments to historical impression counts. This case study uses reported sessions, clicks and inquiry events rather than presenting adjusted impressions as directly observed results.
