Establish the baseline.
Then follow the change.
The dealership entered GCR’s Platinum local SEO program on August 13, 2025. With four locations, the opportunity extended across the dealership’s website, individual inventory pages and local Google listings.
At launch, GCR’s work included website improvements, new content, Google Business Profile updates and posts, and off-page SEO. Together, these addressed the dealership’s website and local search presence.
At the first keyword snapshot, the website appeared on page one for 126 keywords, including 26 in the top three. The first full calendar month after launch provides a separate starting point for website activity.
The initial search footprint

A full month of activity

442 organic website inquiry events
The first-full-month comparison is September 2025 versus August 2026: clicks rose 216% and inquiry events rose 154%. These are different calendar months, so this comparison is a progress milestone, not a year-over-year or seasonally adjusted result.

Same-month and same-date comparisons show how the search footprint and website activity changed over twelve months.

What counts as an inquiry?
For this case study, an inquiry event is a recorded phone tap or form submission from an organic-search website visit. August 2025 recorded 96 form submissions and 82 phone taps; August 2026 recorded 254 and 188, respectively.
These are event counts, not deduplicated people, answered calls or confirmed sales. The report states that the same two events were tracked throughout the comparison. The August 2025 baseline includes the twelve days before the program began.
The series varied month to month, with a higher level of recorded activity from June through August 2026.

Individual carts became another path to the website.
The report identifies free product listings as a major contributor to the increase in search clicks. These results let shoppers discover individual inventory items directly in Google.
Clicks from free product listings · Search Console · +309% across consecutive 90-day periods
The distinction between visibility and buyer fit still mattered. The report found that used-inventory pages attracted substantial traffic from outside the dealer’s home state and recorded fewer inquiry events per visit than new-inventory pages.
That makes the next opportunity clear: help search visitors understand availability, delivery options and the next step toward finding a cart.
A broader footprint.
An uneven result by location.
The website’s gains tell one part of the story. Google Business Profile reporting and local map scans show where more work remains.
Google Business Profile views
Across all four listings in June–August 2026, up approximately 109% from the same months in 2025.
Calls and direction requests
670 calls and 1,224 direction requests in June–August 2026—essentially level with approximately 1,896 a year earlier.
The 2025 profile comparison is estimated from Google’s displayed percentage changes. Calls and direction requests are listing interactions, not unique customers or confirmed visits.
Strong nearby rankings at three of four locations
In the September 1, 2026 scan for “golf carts,” three locations placed in the top three at 114 of 117 sampled points across their separate local grids. The fourth placed in the top three at 9 of 39 points. These are sampled search positions, not a claim about every shopper’s results.
Greater visibility did not produce the same improvement everywhere. Converting listing views into inquiries and strengthening the fourth location remain priorities.
Clear periods.
Separate measures.
This case study summarizes a dealership performance review prepared September 23, 2026, with data through September 20. The latest complete calendar month is August 2026. The dealership’s identity and individual locations are withheld.
- Search Console: website clicks from Google Search and clicks classified as free product listings.
- GA4: recorded form submissions and phone taps from organic-search visits. The report states that tracking definitions remained consistent.
- Search Atlas: U.S. keyword snapshots and separate local map-grid scans. Keyword counts and grid coverage measure different kinds of visibility.
- Google Business Profile: listing views, calls and direction requests, compared across the same three calendar months.
Results reflect this dealership during the reported period. This before-and-after comparison does not isolate every influence on performance, demonstrate sales growth or guarantee an outcome for another dealership.
Why isn’t every metric a full-year comparison?
GA4 data begins July 22, 2025, and Search Console data begins August 12, 2025. The source does not supply two complete twelve-month periods. We therefore use same-month or same-date comparisons where available and label the other comparisons separately.
